OUR STORY
ABOUT SNOHOMISH FARMERS MARKET
Established in 1991, the Snohomish Farmers Market began with a vision to transform a quiet street in Historic Downtown Snohomish into a vibrant community gathering space. What started with just 35 vendors on Avenue A has grown into a thriving market that offers fresh, locally-grown produce, handmade goods, and live entertainment.

Over the years, the market has changed locations and evolved, moving from its original spot to the Snohomish Iron Works property and later to its current home near the historic Carnegie Library. Each move has reflected the market’s growth and commitment to supporting local farmers, artisans, and the surrounding community.

Today, under the leadership of Sarah Dylan Jensen since 2015, the Snohomish Farmers Market continues to flourish, offering a diverse range of local goods. We are proud members of the Washington State Farmers Market Association and deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our community, dedicated vendors, and volunteers.
Celebrating over 30 years, the Snohomish Farmers Market remains a cornerstone of local life, fostering a space where neighbors come together to connect, shop, and celebrate the best of Snohomish.
We're committed to keeping our roots local

OUR COMITTMENT TO QUALITY & LOCAL INTEGRITY
At Snohomish Farmers Market, we are proud members of the Washington State Farmers Market Association (WSFMA) and adhere strictly to their standards. Our market showcases only handmade, homegrown, and locally produced items, ensuring that every vendor meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and agricultural excellence.

This commitment means that when you shop at Snohomish Farmers Market, you are directly supporting farmers, artisans, and small businesses who cultivate, create, and craft their products right here in our region. We prioritize quality, sustainability, and authenticity, allowing us to foster a market experience that reflects the true spirit of local entrepreneurship and community.

By upholding these guidelines, we ensure that our market remains a trusted source for fresh produce, handmade goods, and unique crafts, all while supporting the values of local economy and sustainable living.
